Job Details:

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 to 4:00

Responsibility: Safely operate a delivery vehicle, handle heavy lifting and navigate through the city delivering mats.

Requirements: In-depth knowledge of the city, excellent customer service skills, and physical stamina

Hourly: $16.00 an hour for the first 90 days. Then an evaluation and potential for an increase.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all financial records.
• Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Track and manage expenses, ensuring budget adherence.
• Collaborate with external accountants for tax filing and audits.
• Maintain compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Provide general support for financial and accounting matters as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A strong understanding of Excel is required.
